Edraianthus serbicus

This plant is a Balkan endemic, occurring only on limestone terrains in Bulgaria and Serbia. In Bulgaria it may be seen most conveniently in Znepole region, but it also occurs in isolated localities in the West Frontier Mts. The flowering is extended from May to July, but mostly happens in May and June. The plant is threatened and is included in the Red Data Book of the Republic of Bulgaria, and is protected by the law.
